I’m Misty, creator of The Maternal Hobbyist. My husband and I are commercial content creators and parents of two curious, creative kids. Together, we’re documenting what it looks like to simplify life, build income that travels with us, and learn through the world as our classroom.

After our first Boundless Life cohort in Kotor, Montenegro, we realized we wanted more than stability tied to a mortgage. We wanted freedom to work creatively, live simply, and worldschool our children as we explore new cultures.

What began as a motherhood blog filled with crafts and kids’ projects has evolved into a family-led resource for parents navigating change. We share what it looks like to sell nearly everything, move abroad, earn remotely, and teach through travel.
