I am so excited for this holiday season! It’s my favorite time of year for crafting and creating DIY Christmas decor for our home.
Today’s Christmas Banner project is perfect for all the vibrant color lovers out there. Most importantly, this no-sew project can be completed and hung on the mantle within a couple hours. Woohoo!
These Christmas trees can be customized with your favorite color palette too!
How to Make Christmas Banner

WHAT YOU NEED:
- Acrylic Craft Paint (I’m using Carousel Pink)
- Wooden Clothespins
- 3 Colors of Felt or Stiffened Felt if you prefer
- Paintbrushes
- Silver Wooden Stars
- Hot Glue Gun
- Twine
- Tree Pattern (Isosceles Triangle): 2″ wide on bottom, 3″ tall

INSTRUCTIONS:
1.) Clip clothespins to a piece of cardboard. Paint the top side with pink acrylic paint and let them dry.
2.) Cut 3 inch tall strips from 3 different colors of felt.
3.) Cut the felt strips into 3″ x 2″ rectangles.
4.) Cut felt rectangle around tree pattern in each color.
5.) Cut Tree into three 1 inch tall sections.
6.) Switch felt tree pieces so each tree has 3 different colored felt pieces.
7.) Hot glue the felt tree pieces on, leaving a space in between each one. (See instructional video below.)
8.) Glue on wooden star tree toppers.
9.) Clip trees to a piece of twine.
10.) Hang Christmas banner and enjoy the vibrant colors!
