FUN AND EASY CRAFTS
Day 60 at home. Keeping kids busy without spending all day every day glued to a screen can be a challenge. So, I ordered a bunch of DIY fun and easy crafts from Oriental Trading.
I set up all the DIY craft supplies on a rolling cart to create a “craft station” just for Miss 4. Wow, was she surprised!

Fun and Easy Crafts Supplies:
- Unfinished Wood Birdhouses
- Square Flowerpots
- Watch it Grow Medium Seed Pots
- Mod Podge Outdoor
- DecoArt Acrylic Paint
- Metallics DecoArt in Gold
- Washi Tape
- Kid’s Paintbrushes
Square Flowerpot INSTRUCTIONS:
1.) First, to recreate the fun and easy crafts we made above, you’ll need to choose 2 paint colors. I chose DecoArt Cotton Candy and Teal Mint.
2.) Next, choose a size of washi tape, and tape a single strip all the way around the flowerpot. Also, make sure the tape is secured to the surface by running your finger over the tape.
3.) Then begin painting one color on top, and follow with a second color on bottom.
4.) Once the paint is dry, carefully peal off the washi tape. Use the DecoArt Metallics paint with a paintbrush to carefully paint the stripe.
5.) Finally, plant your favorite succulent or flower in your new beautiful flowerpot and enjoy!
Most importantly, DIY crafts help build confidence and attention span among other important skills.
