Melissa & Doug Blockables™ Event at the Amazeum
As a parent of young children, I’m always on the lookout for toys that are both educational and engaging. That’s why I was thrilled to partner with Melissa & Doug on their latest innovation: Blockables™! These wooden snap-and-play building blocks are designed for children aged 2 and up, offering endless opportunities for creativity and learning. And the best part? We get to experience them firsthand at the upcoming Melissa & Doug Blockables™ event at the Amazeum in Bentonville, Arkansas, on March 29th!

What Are Blockables™?
Blockables™ are a brand-new collection of solid wood building blocks that are connectable, stackable, and playable. Each set includes blocks with large connectors, making it easy for little hands to snap them together in multiple directions. The mix-and-match felt accessories and pieces add another layer of fun, encouraging imaginative, open-ended play while helping kids develop fine motor skills, spatial awareness, and problem-solving abilities.
The Blockables™ lineup includes several themed sets:
- Farm Building Set – Build a farm with animals, a tractor, and more.
- Town Building Set – Create a vibrant town with swings, a playground, and vehicles.

We were lucky enough to receive the Blockables™ Town Snap & Play Mix and Match set from Melissa & Doug, and my 4 and 8-year-old children have absolutely loved it! They’ve spent hours building creative town scenes, snapping pieces together, and coming up with their own imaginative stories.
