Water safety is incredibly important! Swim lessons can start as early as 6mo. old with a parent and child class. You can take swim classes even as an adult! Plus it’s an amazing low impact exercise! I got a Mommy Makeover for my birthday! (Makeup on I got a Mommy Makeover for my birthday! (Makeup only.) After 7yrs of raising kiddos, l’m done nursing and our youngest is potty-trained. Yay! I’m prioritizing self care and finding myself again as I’ve been back in the gym and losing weight. So I booked a makeup tutorial appointment with a local makeup artist @makeupby.boun so I could learn how to do makeup including different looks. She also gave me a list of each product she used so I can practice doing my own makeup at home. Then our 3yr old told us a story wearing this puppet set with changing emotion eyes. My daughter accidentally fell into the pool during My daughter accidentally fell into the pool during our summer vacation while I was holding my toddler. My heart sank in that moment as I looked for a safe place to put my toddler so I could jump in and save her. But suddenly my daughter had already surfaced and my grandmother was yelling for her to “SWIM!!!” Then she started to swim exactly like she learned in swim lessons! I couldn’t believe it!!!! I burst into tears as she made it to the edge of the pool and climbed out ON HER OWN. I’ve never felt so panicked before and I thought my heart was going to beat out of my chest during those few seconds. It seemed like time stood still. THANK YOU to @arkansasswimacademy for teaching my daughter these life changing skills!!! If you’re a parent, please do whatever it takes to teach your children water safety.
