8 WEEKS PREGNANT
As I shared in my original post, pregnancy after molar pregnancy can cause anxiety, and fear. Nevertheless, I’m choosing to hold on to hope as I share my update on being 8 weeks pregnant.
My 8 weeks pregnant appointment started with weighing me. Somehow, despite the extreme nausea, I’ve gained 1/2lb in 4 weeks. In addition, I had 10 vials of blood drawn for various blood work.

OBGYN Feedback:
My OBGYN called me to go over my test results. She said my vitamin D is very low. Consequently, I need to supplement daily.
She also said my thyroid function came back as hyperthyroidism. Therefore, she wants to retest my thyroid in 4 weeks. If it does not return to normal, she would like me to see an endocrinologist.
Finally, she noted that my bilirubin levels are elevated as well. Similarly, we’ll check that again in 4 weeks.
COMBATTING NAUSEA
Since I’ve been extremely sick, my OBGYN recommended I take 10mg of Vitamin B 6 every 4-6 hours to help with nausea.
Secondly, I keep gluten free crackers on my nightstand so I can eat crackers as soon as I wake up.
Thirdly, I’m dealing with nausea by drinking my favorite Earth Mama Organics Morning Wellness Tea. The ginger mint flavor is delicious! Every tea bag has a different quote on the tag so I look forward to reading each one.
